Sean Strickland, other UFC fighters react to 2024 Vice President debate

On Tuesday, Oct. 1 the 2024 Vice Presidente debate took place in New York City. Ohio Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz faced off to debate the most important topics ahead of the 2024 Presidential election between current Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

UFC fighters, which have overwhelmingly supported Trump during this election took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the event. One of those fighters is the outspoken and controversial former UFC champion Sean Strickland.

Strickland, like many Americans, was interested in the United States’ response to the wars in Ukraine, Palestine, and Israel. He seemingly feels like neither the Republican nor the Democratic candidate had a real answer for the burning question.

“Moderator ‘Who is willing to enslave our citizens in debt and if needs be send our soldiers to die to protect Ukraine and Israel’ VP candidates ‘Me.. Me.. Me.. funnel us taxpayers money, f*ck Americans’,” he tweeted.

He also commented on a CBS News video of the debate.

Strickland then brought up nuclear weapons and North Korea.

Al Iaquinta was also watching and tweeting along with the debate.

Cody Durden replied to a tweet about the debate.

This is a developing story and we’ll update with more fighter reactions as the debate continues.
