UFC 247: Jones vs. Reyes is headlined by two title fights, including the next defenses for light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and flyweight titleholder Valentina Shevchenko.

Jones stormed back into the Octagon in late 2018, reeling off three victories in three fights in little more than six months. He took a bit of a break after that, his last trip to the Octagon being a tough split-decision win over Thiago Santos in July of 2019.

Jones returns to defend his 205-pound crown against fast-rising star Dominick Reyes in the UFC 247 main event at the Toyota Center.

While Jones’ record stands at 25-1, 1 NC – his lone loss was a disqualification due to an illegal downward elbow strike – Reyes is working hard to match or even better Jones. He has quickly garnered a spotless 12-0 record, including victories over the likes of Chris Weidman, Volkan Oezdemir, Ovince Saint Preux, and Jared Cannonier.

Already a standout at bantamweight, Shevchenko won the UFC title in just her second fight at flyweight and hasn’t looked back, defending it against Jessica Eye and Liz Carmouche. She puts the belt on the line for a third time when she meets Katlyn Chookagian in the UFC 247 co-main event.

Chookagian is 4-1 since returning to the flyweight division. Her lone defeat was a split-decision loss to Eye. She has since rebounded with wins over Joanne Calderwood and Jennifer Maia to put her in the challenger’s role against Shevchenko.
