McGregor reacted to a diss from his would-be opponent Michael Chandler by revealing the foot injury that kept him off UFC 303 is healed.

Conor McGregor is all healed up and ready to fight.

McGregor was set to return to action after two long years on injury leave at UFC 303. Alas, a broken pinky toe derailed that date, and now we’re waiting to see when the UFC will re-book him and Michael Chandler.

UFC CEO Dana White has been evasive about a new date, which seems wise until you know your superstar attraction is fully recovered and ready to go. Well, according to a since-deleted interaction with Chandler, McGregor is indeed ready to go as far as that pinky is concerned.

“The Notorious” is now a co-owner in Bare Knuckle FC and spent the weekend ginning up attention for BKFC in every manner possible.

He attended a BKFC press conference in Spain where he implied he might leave UFC for bare knuckle after the final two fights on his current contract. He ‘fired’ BKFC star Mike Perry after “Platinum” lost to Jake Paul (watch the finish here). And he posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) working his knuckles on a heavy bag in the gym, tagging BKFC.

That led to Michael Chandler chirping at him.

“But show us the bare foot knuckles,” Chandler wrote.

“Hey bum beggar, the foot is fully healed,” McGregor clapped back.

We’re a month and a half removed from the date of the injury, and McGregor has promised a return by the end of 2024. Current reports have the UFC’s big December pay-per-view as the target for the return of “The Notorious.” That’s if Conor can stay healthy, as he very publicly stated he will never compete injured again.
