Dana White confirms that ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ will be returning

For those who were wondering what’s happening with “The Ultimate Fighter,” Dana White has given a positive update.

During an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit on Wednesday, UFC president White was asked for an update on TUF.

“Is TUF totally dead or is it coming back? I really miss it,” White was asked.

“TUF is coming back SOON,” White responded, as he revealed his intention to bring back the iconic UFC series, which was credited for helping move the UFC toward mainstream acceptance back in 2005.

Though White already confirmed that TUF wasn’t going anywhere back in 2018, speculation on the show’s future arose when a framed image placed at the Apex Center in Las Vegas, showed the dateline “2005-2018” which many interpreted as the show’s full life cycle.

“The Ultimate Fighter” has produced numerous champions, including Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Michael Bisping, T.J. Dillashaw, and Robert Whittaker, with a host of talented athletes graduating to the full UFC roster via the show’s 28 seasons to date.

“The Ultimate Fighter” hasn’t aired since 2018, but if White’s comments are any indication, it appears the show is set to return to our screens soon.
