World boxing champion Errol Spence Jr. was hospitalized in Dallas on Thursday after crashing his Ferrari in a near-fatal wreck. “The Truth” was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from his car, but is expected to survive.

“Errol was in an accident, and his parents are with him at the hospital,” Premier Boxing Champions spokesman Tim Smith told ESPN. “The doctors are monitoring his condition, but his injuries are not life-threatening. We will have further updates as the doctors update his condition. We’re all wishing the best for Errol.”

Spence Jr., who represented the United States at the 2012 Olympics, is fresh off his split decision victory over Shawn Porter last month in Los Angeles, which unified the 147-pound world titles. The 29 year-old southpaw is 26-0 with 21 knockouts and holds the WBC and IBF straps.

No word yet on what caused the accident, but a police investigation is underway.
