Lucas Brennan vs. Jacob Landin added to Bellator 233 prelims in Oklahoma

A featherweight bout is the latest addition to next month’s Bellator return to Oklahoma.

Lucas Brennan (1-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) will take on Jacob Landin (0-2 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) on the Bellator 233 preliminary card, a person with knowledge of the booking told MMA Junkie on Wednesday. The person requested anonymity since Bellator has yet to make an official announcement.

Bellator 233 takes place Nov. 8 at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla. The main card airs on Paramount following prelims on MMA Junkie.

Brennan, a jiu-jitsu black belt, made his pro MMA debut with Bellator in July and picked up a first-round rear-naked choke win over Thomas Lopez at Bellator 224. The 19-year-old recently signed a multi-fight contract with Bellator and will kickstart his new deal when he takes on Landin.

Landin also most recently competed at Bellator 224, but was submitted by A.J. Agazarm in the first round. “Jiu-jitsu Jesus” has lost his first two pro bouts, including his Bellator debut, and will be dropping down to featherweight to take on fellow Texan Brennan.

With the addition, the latest Bellator 233 lineup includes:

  • John Salter vs. Costello van Steenis
