Maycee Barber rips Paige VanZant for ignoring her, calling out ‘girl power union’

The Maycee Barber and Paige VanZant saga continues.

After Barber (8-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) relentlessly called out VanZant (8-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC) before and after her recent win over Gillian Robertson at UFC on ESPN 6, “PVZ” came out with a list, issuing a challenge to 62 female fighters, but not Barber, trying to prove a point about respect.

But “The Future” is not here for respect, she said. She’s looking for a dance partner, and said if VanZant is looking for a fight, as well, then she should just sign on the dotted line.

Barber took to social media to respond to VanZant and proceeded to list the entire female roster herself (via first round finish over Robertson at UFC on ESPN 6 that extended the unbeaten start to her career.

She called out VanZant afterward, but clearly she’s not the only 125-pounder looking to get a crack at PVZ. Numerous strawweight and flyweight fighters have called her out, but in a more respectful manner that could apparently lure “12 Gauge” into a fight.
