UFC on ESPN+ 20 post-event facts: Demian Maia takes second place for most UFC wins, submissions

The UFC made its return to Singapore on Saturday for UFC on ESPN+ 20, which took place at Singapore Indoor Stadium with an 11-fight card that streamed entirely on ESPN+.

Demian Maia (28-9 MMA, 22-9 UFC) added to his octagon legend in the headliner when he submitted Ben Askren (19-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in the third round of their welterweight bout, which was deemed “Fight of the Night.”

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout for the event totaled $142,000.

Debuting fighters went 1-1 at the event.

Maia, Askren, Beneil Dariush and Ciryl Gane earned $50,000 UFC on ESPN+ 20 fight-night bonuses.

UFC on ESPN+ 20 drew an announced attendance of 7,155. No live gate was revealed for the card.

Betting favorites went 8-3 on the card.

Betting favorites fell to 17-17 (one fight had even odds, one ended in a no contest) in UFC headliners this year.

Total fight time for the 11-bout card was 2:17:53.
