‘UFC 244 Embedded,’ No. 5: ‘That’s what BMFs do, mate’

The UFC’s 11th pay-per-view of the year takes place Saturday with UFC 244, and the promotion’s popular “Embedded” series returns to get you ready.

UFC 244 takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York. The main card airs on pay-per-view followed by prelims on ESPN2, ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will throw down in a welterweight clash for the “BMF” title belt that is expected to be wrapped around the winner’s waist by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. And in the co-main event, former welterweight title challenger Darren Till makes his middleweight debut in a tough matchup with recent interim title challenger Kelvin Gastelum.

The fourth episode of “Embedded” follows Diaz, Gastelum, and Darren Till, and takes a closer look at media day. Here’s the UFC’s description:

On Episode 5 of UFC 244 Embedded, fans from around the world mob Nate Diaz on the streets of New York. Middleweight Kelvin Gastelum’s energy stays high as he starts to sweat off the extra pounds. Opponents face off at Ultimate Media Day: light heavyweight title hopefuls Corey Anderson and Johnny Walker; welterweights Stephen Thompson and Vicente Luque; Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. Gastelum poses solo, and later in the day his opponent Darren Till arrives in the States after an unexpected delay in London. UFC 244 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the BMF title belt at the UFC’s 500th event on Saturday, November 2nd on Pay-Per-View.
