Former foes Jorge Masvidal and Darren Till embrace backstage following their UFC 244 wins

UFC 244 was a big night for former foes Jorge Masvidal and Darren Till.

The two met this past March, where Masvidal scored a second-round knockout win over Till, kickstarting his remarkable 2019. That was followed by a record-breaking knockout win over Ben Askren at July’s UFC 239, then a “BMF” title win over Nate Diaz this past Saturday, capping off Masvidal’s incredible year.

Meanwhile, Till was able to snap a two-fight losing skid and make good in his move up to middleweight by edging out former interim middleweight title challenger Kelvin Gastelum in the co-main event of UFC 244.

Both men emerged victorious at New York’s Madison Square Garden and then shared a nice, respectful moment backstage that Masvidal shared on his YouTube channel.

“BMFs, mate. Welterweight BMF, middleweight BMF,” Till can be heard saying to Masvidal.
