U.S. President Donald Trump attended the UFC 244 pay-per-view (PPV) event last Sat. night (Nov. 2, 2019) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, where he got to rub elbows with longtime supporter and UFC President Dana White.

It cost the Republican National Committee $60,000.

Now before anyone starts piping off about those wasted funds and how they could have been more responsibly allocated, remember that UFC paid $50,000 for that dumb “BMF” belt that will sit in Jorge Masvidal’s closet for the next 20 years.

Trump, meanwhile, garnered worldwide media coverage for UFC 244.

According to the Washington Post, the majority of that tab covered security and catering, as Trump had House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Reps. Mark Meadows and Peter T. King alongside him, as well as sons Donald Jr. and Eric.

Sorry, Colby.

UFC 244 featured Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz in the main event, won by “Gamebred” by way of technical knockout (doctor’s stoppage). Elsewhere on the card, Darren Till, Stephen Thompson, and Derrick Lewis were all victorious.
