UFC Fight Pass gets redesign and overhaul, including 1080p video and ‘Downloads to Go’

The UFC has given its subscription streaming service an overhaul with the promise of an improved user experience and better functionality, along with some new features.

It’s the first major redesign for UFC Fight Pass since it launched in 2013. Included among the new features are improved video quality in 1080p; improvements to the search function; a 24/7 linear programming feed; a desktop viewing option that allows users to watch multiple streams at the same time; a Downloads to Go feature that allows viewing without an internet connection; and more.

“We broke new ground when we originally launched Fight Pass, and we continue to innovate by adding features that fight fans are going to love,” UFC president Dana White stated. “The redesigned Fight Pass offers upgrades like 1080p video, multi-view for desktop, improved search, and coming early next year, ‘Downloads to Go,’ so you can watch Fight Pass content without an internet connection. Add in the world’s largest fight library with 17,000 fights, every UFC fight ever, and over 1,000 hours of live combat sports, and Fight Pass continues to be a must-have streaming service for combat sports fans.”

UFC Fight Pass is available in more than 200 countries around the world. It includes live UFC early prelim fights; more than 250 live events per year across all combat sports; original series, historical programming, special features and behind-the-scenes content; a fight library with more than 17,000 fights from more than 35 promotions, including every fight in UFC history; and all seasons of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

The platform can be accessed on computers, iOS and Android devices, and many streaming devices like Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Chromecast and Roku. The subscription cost is $9.99 USD per month.
