Despite what some former champions may lead you to believe, the pros of being a title holder for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) definitely outweigh the cons.

This Saturday night (Dec. 14, 2019) three of the best champions under the UFC umbrellas will put their belts on the line at the massive UFC 245 pay-per-view (PPV) event on Las Vegas, Nevada.

Usman is looking to score his first-ever title defense after winning the belt earlier this year, while “Chaos” is looking to solidify himself as the best at 170 pounds after having his interim tag removed by the promotion.

In the co-headlining act, longtime Featherweight king, Max Holloway, is in search of his fourth straight title defense at 145 pounds, as well as his fifteenth straight win in the division when he faces top contender, Alexander Volkanvoski.

While Max hasn’t lost at 145 pounds in six years, Volkanovski is riding a 17 fight win streak dating back to 2013, and has dominated all of his first seven UFC opponents, including Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes.

Rounding out the trio of title fights is Amanda Nunes facing Germaine de Randamie in a rematch six years in the making. Nunes — the first and only female champ-champ for UFC — is looking for her seventh straight win in a title fight when as defends her Bantamweight strap.
