There has been several firsts inside the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Octagon over the last 20-plus years, but there has never been a husband and wife duo to compete on the same card.

Until now.

Indeed, Flyweight contender Mark De La Rosa and his wife and surging women’s 125-pound contender, Montana De La Rosa, will both compete at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 167 event on February 15, 2020 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Mark, who is coming of two straight losses, will face off against Raulian Paiva Franzão on the ESPN+-streamed event, which is set to go down inside Santa Ana Star Center. Raulian, meanwhile, is also riding a two-fight losing streak, so both men will be digging deep to get a much-needed win in “The Land of Enchantment.”

Montana, meanwhile, will face Mara Romero Borella. De La Rosa recently had her four fight win streak snapped by Andrea Lee this past summer, suffering the first loss of her UFC career. Now, both Mark and Montana will look to get back into the win column, all while making UFC history.

A family that fights together, stays together.

UFC Rio Rancho will be headlined by a Light Heavyweight bout between Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz, while Diego Sanchez faces Michel Pereira in the co-main event.
