Volkov Claims Ngannou Ducked Him, ‘Predator’ Responds

News broke last night that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight title contender, Francis Ngannou, would be fighting fellow 265-pound smashing machine, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, in the UFC Columbus main event next March in Ohio.
Alexander Volkov isn’t happy about it.
“It’s just me, or Francis Ngannou just evaded me again?” Volkov asked on Twitter. “He wanted to fight me so much, but ducked me for the other guy as soon as I’ve asked UFC to fight him. He is funny…”
Ngannou responds:

“You intelligence level is inspiring,” Volkov continued. “Making such thoughtful and deep remarks won’t change the fact that you are one who is too scared to fight me. Now twice.”
Ngannou was offered the chance to fight Volkov at UFC Moscow earlier this year after Junior dos Santos was bounced with injury, but “The Predator” refused because the bout was on less than three weeks notice and came with zero perks.
A win at UFC Columbus, however, could result in another UFC title shot.
