Super Khabib Bros., Starring Conor Bro

I will admit to being mildly amused by this “Super Mario Bros.” parody starring UFC Lightweight Champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, but it also opens some old wounds. I once made the mistake of telling the school heavy that Ghouls ’n Ghosts on Sega Genesis was a better side-scroller than what Mario and Co. had to offer on the Super Nintendo.

Safe to safe I was squashed like a Goomba mushroom.

Conor McGregor also gets featured in the above video as what appears to be Hammer Bro, only his flying projectiles are bottles of Proper No. 12 Irish whiskey. “Notorious” was defeated by “The Eagle” in the UFC 229 main event in late 2018, but their rivalry lives on.

The long-standing rivalry between Sega and Nintendo, however, does not. I blame the Sega Saturn, which never stood a chance against Nintendo 64, though I still love to play Die Hard Arcade from time-to-time.
