In the latest installment of Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) “Decade in Review” series, the promotion highlights some of the most electrifying moments that took place inside the Octagon back in 2018.

That year marked a huge milestone for the promotion, as it staged its 25th Anniversary Show in Colorado, site of where it all began. In the main event of that Fight Night event, Yair Rodriguez knocked out “The Korean Zombie” with one second left in the fight.

At UFC 223, Khabib Nurmagomedov got his first taste of UFC gold, defeating a very game Al Iaquinta in the main event to win the interim strap. Plus, Israel Adesanya debuted that year, and embarked on a tremendous run that saw him ultimately become the Middleweight title earlier this year.

Daniel Cormier also realized his champ-champ dreams, knocking out Stipe Miocic to win the Heavyweight title in the very first round. Also, Amanda Nunes became the promotion’s first-ever female champ-champ after obliterating Cris Cyborg in the very first round at UFC 232 to win the Featherweight title.

And of course, that year featured the long-awaited title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor, which went down in October at UFC 229. The build-up to the fight live up to expectations, as did the bout, as the two men finally let out their hatred toward one another inside the Octagon. In the end, “The Eagle” submitted “Notorious” via rear-naked choke, which was then followed by the now infamous-brawl between the two camps.

Can you think of any moments that should’ve made the cut?
