Calling all featherweights!

Former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 22 contestant, Ryan Hall, is looking for a fight. And after submitting BJ Penn by way of heel hook — followed by a commanding performance over Darren Elkins at UFC Sacramento — the phone has mysteriously stopped ringing.

“Never thought I’d have to go this route, but then again, I also never imagined a laundry list of ranked professional tough guys turning down a fight with a skinny, blinky kid from the suburbs,” Hall wrote on Instagram.

“Frankie Edgar and Jose Aldo are two people for whom courage won’t ever be an issue and it’s for that reason I have looked up to both since I first saw them compete years ago,” he continued. “Maybe one of them would be willing to step in to show everybody else how it’s done? Pick the time and place, boys. I’ll be there.”

Despite his 4-0 record inside the Octagon, Hall (8-1) is unlikely to get his wish. Both Aldo and Edgar have departed the 145-pound division to try their luck at bantamweight. “Junior” may be in line for a title shot while “The Answer” has yet to make his 135-pound debut.

Hall, 34, is currently ranked No. 14 at featherweight.
