The UFC’s first pay-per-view of the year takes place Saturday with UFC 246, and the promotion’s popular “Embedded” series returns to get you ready.
UFC 246 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.
In the main event, former simultaneous featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor (21-4 MMA, 9-2 UFC) returns after a 15-month absence to take on Donald Cerrone (36-13 MMA, 23-10 UFC) in a welterweight bout. In the co-feature, former women’s bantamweight champ Holly Holm (12-5 MMA, 5-5 UFC) meets Raquel Pennington (10-7 MMA, 7-4 UFC).
The third episode of “Embedded” follows the big-name stars at the top of the card as they arrive in Las Vegas. Here’s the UFC’s description:
On Episode 3 of UFC 246 Embedded, bantamweight Raquel Pennington and fiancée Tecia Torres do meal prep at home and compare weight-cutting moods. Headliner Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone trades pre-fight hijinks for family-friendly Las Vegas sightseeing. His opponent Conor McGregor joins forces with bantamweight Holly Holm at athlete check-in. And fight week obligations are underway for stars of the card including lightweight opponents Diego Ferreira and Anthony Pettis, plus strawweights Claudia Gadelha and Alexa Grasso.
