Conor McGregor guaranteed $3 million for UFC 246; Donald Cerrone can make $400k with win

LAS VEGAS – Conor McGregor will make a significantly larger chunk of money than Donald Cerrone regardless of the result Saturday at UFC 246.

McGregor (21-4 MMA, 9-2 UFC) is guaranteed a purse of $3 million – win or lose – for the welterweight main event, which marks his return to the octagon after 15 months. But despite all the talk about Cerrone (36-13 MMA, 23-10 UFC) cashing in off this fight, “Cowboy” is only guaranteed a purse of $200,000, with another $200,000 at stake with a victory.

The payouts for McGregor and Cerrone top the entire 11-fight card, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena and airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+/UFC Fight Pass.
