Tristan Connelly booked for second UFC fight vs. Alex Silva

The UFC’s April 11 card hasn’t been officially announced, nor does it have a known location. However, the event’s lineup continues to grow.

The latest addition to the card is a lightweight matchup between Tristan Connelly and Alex Silva. Both fighters are coming off of their first UFC victories in their most recent outings.

A person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the booking to MMA Junkie, after an initial report from Combate. The person asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

Connelly (14-6 MMA, 1-0 UFC) most recently competed at UFC on ESPN+ 16 in September. Taking his promotional debut on mere days’ notice, Connelly moved up a weight class to battle viral sensation Michel Perreira. In a shocking upset, Connelly dominated the Brazilian en route to an unanimous decision victory.

As for Silva (21-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC), “Leko” most recently won an unanimous decision against Rodrigo Vargas at UFC on ESPN+ 14 in August 2019. Prior to his first promotional victory, Silva was submitted by Alexander Yakovlev at UFC on ESPN+ 7 in April 2019.

With the most recent addition, the UFC’s April 11 lineup includes:

Julia Avila vs. Karol Rosa
Alessio Di Chirico vs. Abu Azaitar
