Dana White: Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov ‘truly hate each other’

It’s really no secret that there is a mountain of vitriol between UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former dual-division champion Conor McGregor. UFC president Dana White confirmed at the UFC 246 post-fight press conference that the hatred between them is not contrived. They genuinely have a hatred for each other.

That said, it appears Nurmagomedov and McGregor are awfully close to aligning for a rematch of their October 2018 bout in which Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor in the fourth round.

If the rematch does come to fruition, White is hopeful that they won’t at least going at each other’s throats as they did the first time.
