Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, will return to the Octagon on Feb. 8, 2020 to face Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, in what will be his fourth title fight in 14 months.

It’s well-documented that Jon’s only loss in mixed martial arts (MMA) is a highly-questionable disqualification defeat at the hands of Matt Hamill, so the intrigue of tuning in to find out if Reyes can be the man to solve the “Bones” puzzle is there.

That said, Dominick has yet to taste defeat of any kind, going 12-0 including going 6-0 thus far inside the Octagon, which includes wins over Chris Weidman and Volkan Oezdemir. So despite being pretty dominant against everyone’s he’s faced, Jones will run into a new series of challenges against an undefeated man who says he’s been training for a fight against Jones for years now.

But as we’ve seen in the past, Jon has a way to make even the most dangerous fighter look out of their element once the cage door slams shut. So when fight night rolls around, something has to give.

In the co-main event, women’s Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko will defend her title against Katlyn Chookagian, who has won five or her last six inside the Octagon. Also on the card, Ilir Latifi will move up to the 265-pound division to face Derrick Lewis.
