Dequan Townsend to make 21-day turnaround vs. Devin Clark at UFC on ESPN+ 25

There’s no stopping Dequan Townsend.

Townsend will look for his first UFC victory next week when he replaces Gadzhimurad Antigulov to fight Devin Clark at UFC on ESPN+ 25. MMA Junkie confirmed the news after a report from MMA writer Mike Pendleton. Radio host Mike Frankl first floated it on Twitter as a rumor.

Townsend (21-10 MMA, 0-2 UFC), who will compete for the second time in 21 days, lost to Bevon Lewis at UFC on ESPN+ 24 last month in Raleigh, N.C. He will make a quick turnaround in looking to notch his first promotional win.

Training out of New Mexico’s Jackson Wink MMA, Clark (10-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC) is coming off a second-round submission loss to Ryan Spann at UFC on ESPN+ 19 in October. Prior to that, he picked up a unanimous decision win over Darko Stosic in June.
