Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, will make his return to the Octagon for yet another 205-pound title defense, this time against undefeated challenger and former collegiate athlete, Dominick Reyes. Their five-round pay-per-view (PPV) headliner tops the UFC 247 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, co-anchored by the women’s flyweight title fighting pitting current champion, Valentina Shevchenko, opposite surging 125-pound contender, Kaitlyn Chookagian. The “Prelims” undercard will be televised on ESPN, along with early “Prelims” offerings also making their way to the ESPN+ and Fight Pass digital networks. The action takes place this Sat. night (Feb. 8, 2020) inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, with heavyweight fan favorites Derrick Lewis and Ilir Latifi also getting their hands dirty in “The Lone Star State.”
