Make UFC 248 great again: Darren Till calls for Donald Trump’s help to obtain U.S. visa

According to Darren Till, visa issues are the only thing holding him back from an appearance at UFC 248.

After Robert Whittaker was forced out of a planned contest with Jared Cannonier at the March 7 event in Las Vegas, Till expressed interest in stepping in but has since encountered a few hurdles to overcome.

With reports circling that a lingering ankle injury, as well as contract issues, were responsible for the hold up, and Till remains steadfast in his claim he simply needs a visa, and now he’s asking for win in his middleweight debut over Kelvin Gastelum at this past November’s UFC 244, and the former UFC welterweight title challenger already finds himself in 185-pound contention.

Meanwhile, Cannonier has been tearing through competition since his drop to middleweight, scoring three straight stoppage wins over David Branch, Anderson Silva and Jack Hermansson.

The clock is ticking, but there’s still a little more time for Till to swoop in and make UFC 248 an even bigger card.

And no better way to stake your claim for a title shot than to compete on the same card as the middleweight championship headliner between Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero.
