Shortly after rubber-stamping the middleweight main event between Chris Weidman and Jack Hermansson, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) added yet another hard-hitting match up to its upcoming UFC Fight Night 174 mixed martial arts (MMA) event.

Andrei Arlovski vs. Philipe Lins.

They’ll throw heavyweight hands on Sat., May 2, 2020 inside Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, though it’s not yet known if their titanic tilt will be a part of the ESPN+ “Prelims” or six-fight main card.

Arlovski (28-19, 2 NC) is coming off a brutal, first-round knockout loss to heavyweight contender Jairzinho Rozenstruik at the UFC 244 event last November. “The Pitbull” has now been knocked out 11 times in his cagefighting career, but nobody seems to care, so the 41 year-old Belarusian keeps on truckin’.

As for Lins (14-3), he struggled to get off the ground during his Bellator MMA run a few years back. Then “Monstro” transitioned to Professional Fighters League (PFL) in 2018, where he captured four straight wins along with the promotion’s million-dollar prize. Unfortunately, the 34 year-old Brazilian has been out of action ever since due to injury.

UFC Oklahoma City will also feature the rebooked strawweight showdown between Claudia Gadelha and Marina Rodriguez, while Sarah Alpar and Duda Santana hook ‘em up in women’s bantamweight action. In addition, Ed Herman returns to light heavyweight to trade fists with Korean wunderkind Da Un Jung.
