Sean O’Malley is looking to cash in on his return to the Octagon in more than one way.

O’Malley, who is fighting for the first time in over two years next weekend at UFC 248 against Jose Alberto Quinonez, is opening up his pre-fight training camp to all of his fans looking to spend a few extra bucks.

For just $5, fight fans will be able to see all of the behind-the-scenes action as O’Malley gears up for his long-awaited return. It will be done through the new content-driven platform, Taki, and provide access to a four-part short-form documentary, per a recent announcement by O’Malley’s management firm, Ruby Sports and Entertainment (h/t MMA Fighting).

“It will show where my weight is at, what I’m eating, what my schedule is looking like for the next few days, and how I feel mentally getting back in the Octagon,” O’Malley stated in the release. “After my fight I’ll break it down and go over it with you guys and answer your questions.

“Taki has been a great way to find out what you guys want to know, and interact on a 1-on-1 basis with my fans. Looking forward to doing new and more creative things with Taki to interact with my fans.”

In addition to the behind-the-scenes look at O’Malley’s UFC 248 fight camp, one fan will be eligible to receive “worn and signed” training gloves for the very low price of $250. The same fan will also get access to the four-part Taki documentary, which launched earlier this week.

While it may seem a little tacky (no pun intended) for O’Malley to charge his fans an entry fee into his UFC 248 camp, you can’t blame the young fighter for trying to interact with his followers on a 1-on-1 basis and monetize his own pre-fight preparation. This also isn’t the first time “Sugar” has promoted himself before a major event as the undefeated 25-year-old pushed his custom marijuana strain prior to his bout with Andre Soukhamthath at UFC 222 back in 2018.

UFC 248 will take place on Mar. 7 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a middleweight title fight between current champion Israel Adesanya and perennial contender Yoel Romero serving as the main event.
