The Ultimate Fighting Championship is back on its home turf in Las Vegas this week for UFC 248: Adesanya vs. Romero.
The UFC 248 main event is slated to feature middleweight champion Israel Adesanya putting his belt on the line opposite perennial contender Yoel Romero. The co-main event touts strawweight champion Zhang Weili defending against former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Both titleholders are making the first defenses of their respective championships.
First, however, all of the fighters on the UFC 248 card must step on the scale and make their bouts official. That could be no small task, as Romero has lost battles on the scale before.
