GLORY Postpones June 20 Event In Rotterdam

GLORY

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for combat sports fans thanks to the coronavirus pandemic that has most of the world on lockdown. That includes Netherlands, which has 30,449 citizens infected and 3,459 dead. To date, just 250 have managed to recover.

With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to learn the GLORY 78: “Bader vs. Benny” kickboxing event, previously scheduled for Sat., June 20 inside Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, has been postponed until further notice.

“The measures in place are essential in combating the spread of COVID-19 and the health and safety of our fans, athletes, staff and the wider public remains our primary concern,” said GLORY CEO Marshall Zelaznik. ”We look forward to bringing fans back to the excitement of GLORY as soon as circumstances permit.”

Fans who already purchased tickets will be given a special promo code for the rescheduled event; however, anyone unable to attend will be issued a full refund. Unfortunately, a timeline for the promotion’s return to action has yet to be established.
