Dana White announces full list of UFC matchups for May 13, May 16 events in Florida

Dana White has revealed the full lineups for the promotion’s May 13 and May 16 events.

As first reported by MMA Junkie earlier this month, the Wednesday, May 13 card will be headlined by UFC light heavyweight contenders Anthony Smith (32-14 MMA, 9-5 UFC) and Glover Teixeira (30-7 MMA, 13-5 UFC). The co-main event pits Ben Rothwell (37-12 MMA, 7-6 UFC) against heavyweight debutant Ovince Saint Preux (24-13 MMA, 13-8 UFC).

The Saturday, May 16 card will have Walt Harris (13-7 MMA, 6-6 UFC) vs. Alistair Overeem (45-18 MMA, 10-7 UFC) atop the bill. The May 16 co-main event had not been previously announced – a fight between Claudia Gadelha (17-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) and Angela Hill (12-7 MMA, 7-7 UFC).

The UFC president revealed the main event, as well as their respective undercards, in an interview with broadcast partner ESPN on Friday.

The two events, as well as May 9’s UFC 249, are all scheduled to take place at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla. White said the cards will air live on ESPN, with the preliminary cards streamed live on ESPN+.
