Former UFC champion Conor McGregor continues to serve as a model citizen in his home country of Ireland as he assists with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

McGregor, who has already donated over $1 million of medical equipment to hospital and staff around the country, has once again stepped up to the plate and shared his wealth. This time around, “Notorious” is doing it for the kids.

In a recent Instagram post (shown below), McGregor revealed that he recently visited the Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin to hand deliver even more medical supplies. McGregor, who has been a strong advocate for social distancing during the coronavirus spread, kept his distance from hospital staff.

“Drop off at Crumlin Children’s hospital today,” wrote McGregor in addition to posting a handful of photos.

This isn’t the first act of kindness McGregor has done throughout this entire COVID-19 outbreak and it most likely won’t be the last. As someone who has questioned the individuals in charge of controlling Ireland’s coronavirus response and preventative measures, “Notorious” will continue to play a role in the country’s recovery from the pandemic, whether fight fans like it or not.

McGregor, 31, has been trying to regain his hold on the MMA world after struggling outside of the Octagon over the past few years. The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion returned to action this past January at UFC 246 to finish Donald Cerrone via 40-second TKO (see it again HERE). McGregor is hoping to parlay that win into an eventual title shot sometime in 2020.
