Replay! Watch Bellator London ‘MVP vs. Melillo’ online tonight at 6 p.m. ET

The replay rollout during the global pandemic continues as Bellator MMA will air a replay of the sixth European Series event last year. Bellator London “MVP vs. Melillo” took place November 23, 2019 at SSE Arena in London, England (naturally) and was headlined by Michael “Venom” Page (15-1) versus Giovanni Melillo (13-4).

Having the London born “MVP” headline a card there made perfect sense, but the actual fight came together in the eleventh hour. Originally scheduled to face “Barbaric” Derek Anderson (16-3, 1 NC) in the main event, Anderson withdrew due to injury before the show took place, leaving Bellator little choice but to book a man who was 3-3 in his last six bouts.

The result may be a bit predictable based on the circumstances, but the fight still offers some unexpected entertainment, including a scared for his life opponent who hoped a defensive posture would save him from impending doom. That wasn’t the case.
