‘What an honor’: Watch Georges St-Pierre react to Dana White telling him he’s a UFC Hall of Famer

UFC legend Georges St-Pierre will headline the 2020 UFC Hall of Fame class, and he got the news straight from the boss’s mouth.

St-Pierre’s induction was announced during Saturday’s UFC 249 broadcast, and Dana White called GSP ahead of the announcement to deliver the good news himself.

Former UFC welterweight and middleweight champion St-Pierre (26-2 MMA, 20-2 UFC) will join the Modern Wing of the UFC Hall of Fame. In his final octagon appearance he returned after a four-year layoff to submit Michael Bisping at UFC 217 and capture the 185-pound title in November 2017.

A pioneer for Canadian MMA and one of the most beloved figures in his homeland, St-Pierre officially retired from the sport in February 2019, and is considered by many to the greatest champion in UFC history, and the best mixed martial artist of all time.
