Angela Hill auctioning UFC on ESPN 8 fight-worn gear for charity

UFC strawweight Angela Hill is doing her best to give back during an unstable time due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Hill (12-8 MMA, 6-8 UFC) is auctioning off her fight-worn gear from her recent UFC on ESPN 8 bout with Claudia Gadelha, where she suffered a somewhat controversial split decision loss. “Overkill” has set up bidding pages on eBay where her walkout shirt, walkout shorts, hand wraps and gloves are all available for purchase, with the proceeds going to Direct Relief.

The bidding windows close May 27 and can be accessed here and here.

According to the company website, “Direct Relief exists for the simple, humanitarian purpose of helping people whose health and lives are threatened by poverty, endemic diseases, natural disasters, or civil conflict.”

The fighter said 100 percent of the auction money will be handed out to Direct Relief.

Hill had her three-fight winning streak snapped by Gadelha at UFC on ESPN 8. It was a razor-thin decision, and afterward she expressed disappointment in the judging.

The most active fighter on the UFC roster over the past 18 months, Hill is hoping to return to the octagon as soon as possible.
