Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around its UFC on ESPN 9 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which took place last Sat. night (May 30, 2020) inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns handling main event duties.

Burns dominated Woodley en route to a five-round unanimous decision victory (video).

Despite the loss, Woodley took home the top purse of the night, scoring $200,000 for his first fight since losing his 170-pound strap to Kamaru Usman at UFC 235 back in March 2019. “Durinho” has competed five times during that span, which includes the $168,000 he banked for outclassing “The Chosen One.”
