Hero Jones Saves Local Business From Looters

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who may no longer be able to hold that distinction if he follows through with this promise, is making good use of his time away from mixed martial arts (MMA).

“Bones” recently took to the streets to defend his neighborhood from “punk-ass teenagers” looking to capitalize on opportunities created by the George Floyd protests, those shitbags who don’t care about racial equality or police reform and just want a free pair of sneakers.

“Shout out to ‘Bones’ Jones,” local business owner Dawn Vatoseow told KOB4 in Albuquerque. “I think he saved our building. He was out there really trying to stop a lot of this.”

A certain number of fans remain unimpressed, citing some of the legal issues Jones has faced over the last few years. They happen to be the same fans who think a fighter’s entire career is rendered meaningless once that fighter loses or gets knocked out on the grand stage.

Folks, life is not a polynomial function. Both positive and negative integers can be present in the same equation.

“When I got out there, it was people with rocks, people with sticks beating up on buildings, spray painting buildings,” Jones said. “At the end of the day, I have a lot of pride in this place and it was hard to watch them, and I wanted to do something about it.”

Protestors around the world, including this UFC champion, are calling for police reform and racial equality after Floyd’s death last week in Minneapolis. Coupled with coronavirus, 2020 has been a banner year for humanity and we’re not even halfway through it.
