UFC 251 Poster Drops For ‘Usman Vs Burns’

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will ask reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman to defend his 170-pound strap against red-hot division contender Gilbert Burns in the upcoming UFC 251 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, set for Sat., July 11, 2020 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

And that’s just one of three epic title fights.

The promotion today released its official event poster for UFC 251, which also features the featherweight rematch pitting 145-pound kingpin Alexander Volkanovski against former champion Max Holloway, while Petr Yan and Jose Aldo collide for the vacant 135-pound strap (full details here).

Still not enough?

Former strawweight champions Jessica Andrade and Rose Namajunas run it back for a spot in the crowded 115-pound title chase, while Paige VanZant looks to increase her bargaining power on the final fight of her UFC contract against flyweight bruiser Amanda Ribas. Elsewhere on the card, Jiri Prochazka makes his Octagon debut opposite light heavyweight contender Volkan Oezdemir.
