New UFC 251 Poster Drops For ‘Usman Vs Masvidal’

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman into battle against late replacement Jorge Masvidal in the upcoming UFC 251 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, set for this Sat. night (July 11, 2020) on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

And that’s just one of three championship title fights.

The promotion today released its reworked event poster for UFC 251 which also features the featherweight rematch pitting 145-pound kingpin Alexander Volkanovski against former champion Max Holloway, while Petr Yan and Jose Aldo collide for the vacant 135-pound strap.

Gilbert Burns has been removed from UFC 251 following a positive test for COVID-19.

Elsewhere in the stacked UFC 251 lineup, former strawweight champions Jessica Andrade and Rose Namajunas run it back for a spot in the crowded 115-pound title chase, while Paige VanZant looks to increase her bargaining power on the final fight of her UFC contract against flyweight bruiser Amanda Ribas.
