Highlights! Shore Submits Phillips Via Rear-Naked Choke

Things got off to a blistering start at UFC on ESPN 13 tonight (Weds., July 15, 2020), taking place on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with Jack Shore spoiling Aaron Phillips’ return to the Octagon with a rear-naked choke in the second round.

After a fairly competitive first round, things got off to a quick start in round two, Shore managed to score a quick takedown after a couple of kicking exchanges. After fighting for position, Shore managed to take Phillips’ back, sink in a rear-naked choke and force the tap.

Shore improves to 2-0 inside the Octagon, 13-0 overall in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career. For Phillips, it’s not the start he was looking for in his second stint with the promotion.
