Newly-crowned Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Petr Yan took over the empty slot left by the recently-retired Henry Cejudo, a direct result of the “No Mercy” he showed Jose Aldo at UFC 251 last weekend on Fight Island.

To commemorate his big win in Abu Dhabi, SPB Colors in St. Petersburg gave Yan his very own mural, along with the kind of guns that would have the bloodhounds at United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) foaming at the mouth.

“I want to take a rest now, recover, go back to my homeland to see my family, and then it’s the work of my management team,” Yan told MMA Junkie after the fight. “In my first 18 months, I had six fights. I’ve never said no to an offer, so I’ll probably find out soon. I think October will be a perfect time. I think Aljamain Sterling deserves to fight for the title. He’s on a good streak. He beat a lot of good guys.”
