On one side of the gym, we have the UFC fighter known for screaming unintelligibly and setting things on fire.

On the other side of the gym we have Mike Perry.

It seems the “Platinum” welterweight is still contemplating a jump to middleweight, where Perry intends to hunt down and destroy fellow 170-pound export Darren Till (and his mom). And who better to prepare him for the 185-pound weight class than Yoel Romero?

“Soldier of God” has faced the best the division has to offer.

While Till has been reluctant to entertain a potential Perry fight, a recent loss to Robert Whittaker in the UFC on ESPN 14 main event may leave him open to the idea, particularly if “The Gorilla” considers “Platinum” to be a tune-up fight.

That all depends on how much progress Perry makes with the promotion, as the embattled slugger is required to complete a treatment program after losing his shit at a Texas eatery.
