Meet The Parents

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight slugger Mike Perry is about to become a father, according to a social media post from his girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez. Their baby boy is expected to arrive on Jan. 12, 2021 and it sounds like “Platinum” has already embraced the role.

“Surprise everyone! We are going to be parents,” Gonzalez wrote. “We can’t wait to meet our baby boy. I’m glad I get to have my person by my side to go through it all, he has been so helpful with me during my pregnancy I’m so blessed. If you have anything negative to say stay out the way. We are so excited and we don’t need any of your negativity. I love you Michael Perry! January 12th.”

The feeling appears to be mutual.

“You’re mentally such a savage and I think it’s so beautiful,” Perry wrote to Gonzalez. “We are family now, the way we have always felt inside. I love you both more than life itself.”

Perry is coming off a unanimous decision win over Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN 12 last June but is currently on hiatus after a Texas street fight left him in trouble with the law. “Platinum” recently hooked up with UFC middleweight Yoel Romero for “terrorizing workouts” as he plans his next move.
