Defining Fights: UFC 252 headliner Daniel Cormier

Former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier will look to bring the curtain down on his stellar MMA career by recapturing the biggest prize in the sport, the UFC heavyweight title, at UFC 252.

Cormier (22-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC) will challenge reigning heavyweight king Stipe Miocic in the third leg of their heavyweight title trilogy in the night’s main event.

UFC 252 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.

Cormier stunned Miocic (19-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC) in the first round of their first fight back at UFC 226 in July 2018, but Miocic evened the score with a fourth-round TKO finish of “DC” in the rematch at UFC 241.

Now the pair will go head to head for the final time to settle the trilogy.
