UFC On ESPN 15 Video! Watch Edgar’s Best Octagon Finishes

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will finally make his anticipated bantamweight debut later tonight (Sat., Aug. 22, 2020) at UFC on ESPN 15 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, as “Answer” meets veteran Pedro Munhoz in the main event.

While Edgar is just 1-3 in his last four trips to the Octagon his move to 135 pounds will offer the former UFC champ a clean slate entering the final stretch of his career. Fans have long wondered how Edgar would fare at a lower weight class given his natural size and speed. They will get to witness the experiment later this evening as Edgar tests his luck at the bantamweight level and finally matches up against competition sporting the same height and reach.

In preparation for Edgar’s return to the Octagon the promotion has released the above video showcasing the best finishes of his UFC career. From his knockout win over Chad Mendes to his last-second submission of Cub Swanson, Edgar has produced some high-level stoppages throughout his 13 years under the UFC banner.

Check them out above and let us know your favorite one.

It will be interesting to see how Edgar competes in his first bout at 135 pounds. Either he’s able to get past Munhoz and prove he’s ready for another push at UFC gold or he comes up short and inches ever so close to potential retirement.
