Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to its state-of-the-art APEX facility this Sat. night (Aug. 22, 2020) in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the UFC Vegas 8 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, topped by a light heavyweight showdown between ex-title contender Anthony Smith and up-and-coming bruiser Aleksandar Rakic. Elsewhere on the main card, which airs exclusively on ESPN+, former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler tangles with longtime 170-pound veteran Neil Magny. In addition, Ricardo Lamas returns to featherweight action opposite late replacement Bill Algeo, while Magomed Ankalaev and Ion Cutelaba go to war at 205 pounds.
