A featherweight matchup is the latest addition to the UFC’s Sept. 19 lineup.
TJ Laramie (12-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will face Darrick Minner (24-11 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at the event, which takes place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
A person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the booking to MMA Junkie on Wednesday following an initial report from Yahoo Sports. The person requested anonymity because UFC has yet to make an official announcement.
Laramie secured a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series 29 this month, when he scored a first-round doctor’s stoppage win over Daniel Swain. The 22-year-old Canadian has won his past four fights.
Minner, a 35-fight veteran, suffered a second-round submission loss to Grant Dawson in his UFC debut in February.
With the addition, the UFC’s Sept. 19 lineup includes:
