Andrei Fili vs. Bryce Mitchell added to UFC’s Oct. 31 event

A featherweight matchup between Andre Fili and Bryce Mitchell is slated for UFC’s first Halloween event.

MMA Junkie confirmed with multiple people close to the situation that Fili (21-7 MMA, 9-6 UFC) and Mitchell (13-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) are set to fight on the UFC’s Oct. 31 fight card, which does not have an official location or broadcast plans. The people request anonymity because UFC has yet to make an official announcement.

Fili, 30, is coming off a split-decision win over Charles Jourdain at UFC on ESPN 10 in June. “Touchy” has won three of his past four fights overall, with the lone blemish coming against Sodiq Yusuff, who is unbeaten in the UFC.

Mitchell, 25, meanwhile, will attempt to build on his status as one of the UFC’s most exciting rising stars. The Arkansas native has yet to lose as a pro, including four-straight in the UFC. His signature octagon win thus far was a rarely seen Twister finish at UFC on ESPN 7 in December.

With the addition, UFC’s Oct. 31 event now includes:

  • Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall
  • Dustin Jacoby vs. Justin Ledet
  • Maurice Greene vs. Greg Hardy
  • Amir Albazi vs. Raulian Paiva
  • Cortney Casey vs. Priscila Cachoeira
  • Aaron Phillips vs. Adrian Yanez
  • Sean Strickland vs. Wellington Turman
  • Krzysztof Jotko vs. Makhmud Muradov
  • Andre Fili vs. Bryce Mitchell
