Sean Brady choked out Christian Aguilera at UFC on ESPN+ 33, and it looked scary

Paul Felder knew it was coming. He’s felt Sean Brady’s squeeze, so when his teammate applied a choke on Christian Aguilera at UFC on ESPN+ 33, Felder knew the submission was coming.

Brady (13-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) kept his undefeated record intact Saturday with a second-round submission win over Aguilera (14-7 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in their welterweight bout, which took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

It was a scary-looking finish, as Brady found his way into a mounted guillotine choke, where he can apply all the leverage and pressure of his body weight on his opponent. Aguilera appeared to try to squirm free, but then in a split-second he went limp, forcing the referee to step in.

Felder, the UFC lightweight contender who trains with Brady in Philadelphia, had a beat on the finish from Brady well ahead of time, and he called it to a tee. Afterward, Felder conducted an interview with his friend, and Brady said he’s looking for a bigger name at 170 pounds next.
