Watch Dana White Media Scrum For UFC Vegas 9

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be back in action tomorrow night (Sat., Sept. 5, 2020) at UFC Vegas 9 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, as former UFC heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem meets red-hot contender Augusto Sakai in the main event.

In advance to UFC Vegas 9, UFC president Dana White joined media members following Friday’s official weigh ins (full replay HERE) for his usual pre-fight scrum. During White’s four minutes of talk time, he discussed hot topics such as Zelim Imadaev slapping Michel Pereira during weigh ins (watch it HERE), Overeem’s current outlook in UFC’s heavyweight division, and the upcoming return of rising prospect Khamzat Chimaev.

UFC Vegas 9 will also feature a co-main event between former light heavyweight title challenger Ovince Saint Preux and knockout specialist Alonzo Menifield, a featherweight clash featuring Brian Kelleher and late-replacement Kevin Natividad, and a lightweight affair pitting submission guru Thiago Moises against lengthy striker Jalin Turner. Not to mention the welterweight clash between Pereira and Imadaev.
